Lyndon James hammered an unbeaten half-century as Nottinghamshire’s Second XI cruised past the South Asian Cricket Academy by five wickets at Lady Bay.
Batting at three in the T20 clash, James’ 66 runs came from 36 balls, with three fours and five sixes.
His contribution, alongside 42 from Ben Martindale and an unbeaten 24 from Rob Lord, elevated Notts to their target of 163 with more than three overs to spare.
Earlier, there had been four wickets for Lord, two for James Hayes, and a scalp apiece for Freddie McCann and Ben Fletcher as SACA made 162 from their 20 overs.

In the day's other fixture, Freddie McCann's 47 helped the Outlaws to a total of 189/8, which proved just enough to secure a one-wicket win over the same opposition.
Byron Hatton-Lowe held his nerve in the final over, with SACA requiring just nine runs to win, conceding three singles, a leg bye and a boundary before securing a crucial wicket off the final ball to secure the spoils.
