Notts Outlaws and The Blaze will once again come together to celebrate Trent Bridge’s Pride fixture during their double-header fixture on Sunday 7th June.

After The Blaze made their maiden appearance during a Pride fixture at Trent Bridge in 2025, they will return to face Lancashire Thunder before the Outlaws take on Derbyshire Falcons.

It will be the fourth occasion that Trent Bridge has hosted a dedicated Pride fixture, with the venue set to be adorned with a rainbow theme throughout the day.

Players from both Nottinghamshire and The Blaze squads, mascot Nuts the Squirrel, and Trent Bridge staff will all wear rainbow items.

Supporters attending on the day are invited to show their support by wearing rainbow-themed clothing or accessories.

The day will celebrate Pride to deliver the powerful message that those in the LGBTQ+ community can be their true selves whilst attending or participating in sporting events.

“Nottinghamshire, The Blaze and Trent Bridge remain steadfastly committed to standing alongside and supporting the LGBTQ+ community at all times,” said Ian Dipaolo, Deputy Head of the Trent Bridge Community Trust.

“We’re proud to host another Pride fixture, with a number of special features around the ground and during the match designed to show LGBTQ+ cricket fans that Trent Bridge is, and always will be, a welcoming place for them.

“Everyone is excited to see the venue transformed for the celebration, and we’ll keep striving to create positive progress for LGBTQ+ supporters while using sport as a way to unite people.”

Members of the OUTlaws supporters’ group, for LGBTQ+ supporters of Notts and The Blaze and allies, will also be in attendance, and are actively seeking volunteers to join the committee.

New members of the OUTlaws were welcomed to the group during an early-season social during the recent Rothesay County Championship fixture against Surrey at Trent Bridge.

As the group continues to grow, they are also now launching a playing team, who are due to stage their inaugural fixture in August against Birmingham Unicorns.
