Trent Bridge and East Midlands Airport have joined forces in a new partnership that will celebrate the East Midlands on a global stage and help drive regional growth over the next 18 months.
Both instantly recognisable symbols of the region, Trent Bridge and East Midlands Airport will work together to highlight the scale of opportunity and ambition found across the East Midlands, reaching audiences at home and around the world.
The airport will be showcasing its offer to the Trent Bridge faithful, as it continues to expand its range of routes both to Europe and throughout the UK.
Meanwhile, visitors arriving at, or returning home to, East Midlands Airport will be greeted by branding showcasing one of the region's most prominent sporting venues on the global stage.
The partnership encompasses a host of high-profile events at the historic home of Nottinghamshire CCC, with England and India's IT20 clash this summer set to attract billions of eyeballs, and with Trent Bridge hosting cricket's most historic rivalry next summer, as the Men's Ashes returns for the first time in 15 years.
Adam Andrews, Commercial Director at East Midlands Airport, said:
“We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with Trent Bridge. They are one of the region’s most recognisable institutions, putting Nottingham and the wider East Midlands on the global sporting map.
“We share Trent Bridge's ambition to represent our region and forge connections on the world stage - whether that's through sport, travel or leisure.”

Joe Sharphouse, Head of Commercial Sales at Trent Bridge, said:
“Partnering with East Midlands Airport, the primary gateway in and out of the area, feels like a very natural fit for a venue that's proud to represent our region to international audiences.
“We’re excited to work collaboratively over the coming seasons, highlighting the great things the East Midlands has to offer and our great connections with the rest of the globe.”
