Ben Martindale completed an unbeaten double-century as Nottinghamshire’s Second XI consolidated their position of strength over Gloucestershire at Rockhampton.
Resuming on 167, Martindale reached 200 from 327 balls in the opening session, helping his side to post a mammoth 460.
After carrying his bat with an unbeaten 229, captain Martindale saw his bowling attack back up his exploits, with right-arm seamer Riley Boswell impressing with 3/46.
There were wickets for James Hayes, Rob Lord, Nantes Oosthuizen and Joe Pocklington as Gloucestershire reached 231/7 at stumps.
