Ben Slater says Nottinghamshire can be proud of their efforts following a battling draw against Somerset in Taunton.

The left-hander reflected on his own second-innings half-century, and shared an insight into the dressing room throughout the final day.

He went on to praise the Green and Golds’ character and suggested the performance is a real marker of how far the team have come.
