Trent Bridge opened its gates recently to young
people from Nottingham as part of the Prince's Trust 'Team' personal
development course.
The Prince's Trust helps young people in the UK develop key skills, confidence and motivation to move into work, education or training by providing practical and financial support.
It's Cricket Initiative is linked with 11 first-class counties, with members of the Professional Cricketers' Association offering coaching sessions, careers advice and motivational talks.
The group visiting Trent Bridge were given a tour of the ground and had a motivational talk from former Warwickshire fast bowler Paul Smith, who saw his career ended by a ban for drug abuse.
More visits are planned for the future as Nottinghamshire aim to build on their links with the community.
