Nottinghamshire Junior Cricket
The summer of 2025 sees a reorganisation of junior cricket in the county. Formerly the preserve of four separate regional structures in Bassetlaw, Newark, Mansfield and Nottingham, grassroots cricket for young people in the county will now all be brought together under one roof - Nottinghamshire Junior Cricket.
This structure offers formats from U10s pairs, to u15 Girls, right through to U19 Hundred.
The early signs are promising: the number of teams who have entered junior competitions for 2025 has risen by more than 50 for this season, and now stands at 350 across the county.
For a full list of formats and member clubs, visit the Nottinghamshire Junior Cricket website.

Clubs in Nottinghamshire can enter the ECB National U13 & U15 T20 cup competition after Christmas.
The competition, depending on numbers of entries, will either be a straight knock-out, or a group stage followed by a knock-out.
The winner of both the u13s and u15s competition will progress through to the national stages.

Or for the Girls competitions at the same age groups, please contact our Women & Girls Officer Jemima Dalton.

Our Kwik Cricket Leagues run between January and March, and again between May and July. These are six-a-side fixtures held in a festival format, up to aged nine for boys and aged 11 for girls. These take place on a Sunday morning and are a great introduction to match-play cricket for those starting their journey.
If your club wishes to express an interest in signing up, please contac our Young People Officer Alex West.
