Assistant Coach Kevin Shine reflected on a gruelling but rewarding second day in the Rothesay County Championship against Hampshire.

Despite a long day in the field, Shine praised the relentless attitude of the bowling attack, who, led by Fraser Sheat, dug deep to restrict the run rate and create a crucial breakthrough late in the day.

From the grit of senior bowlers Olly Stone and Dillon Pennington, to the exciting emergence of Academy graduate Tom Giles, Shine was full of positive words for the bowling unit.
