Josie Groves, Georgie Boyce, Liv Baker, and Ella Claridge have been named to a 13-strong ECB Development XI squad to face New Zealand at Banks Homes Riverside on Wednesday 6 May.
The 50-over contest in Durham will form part of the White Ferns’ warm-up schedule in preparation for their three-match ODI series against England, which begins next week.
Groves, who recently made her first appearance of the summer for The Blaze in the Bank Holiday win over Surrey at Trent Bridge, will captain the side.
Claridge also appeared in that victory and has played three times in this season’s Metro Bank One Day Cup, while Baker and Boyce are yet to appear in a first XI fixture in 2026.
Claridge and Baker also both recently signed new contracts with The Blaze to extend their time at Trent Bridge until the end of the 2027 and 2028 seasons, respectively.
The match will begin at 11:00 BST in Chester-le-Street, and will be live streamed on the Durham Cricket YouTube channel.
