Dafabet, the online betting service and an internationally-recognised name in sports sponsorship, has agreed a deal to become the Official Betting Partner of Nottinghamshire County Cricket Club.
The club joins a host of world-renowned sports teams in partnering with Dafabet, including Cricket South Africa and Celtic FC, and becomes the company’s 12th partner in English First-Class Cricket.
The Dafabet logo will appear on the rear of Notts and The Blaze’s T20 and 50-over playing shirts, with branding across the William Clarke Stand and across the club’s free live‑streaming service, Trent Bridge Live.
“We’re very happy to partner with Nottinghamshire who are obviously very well known in county cricket, as is the historic venue of Trent Bridge,” said John Cruces, Head of Sponsorships at Dafabet.
“The popularity of cricket continues to grow worldwide – and Trent Bridge, with its status as a leading international venue and the global reach of its live stream, is at the heart of that growth.
“It’s another example of our commitment to extending our reach within the sport and will help us put our brand in front of further people on both a domestic and international level.
“We look forward to supporting the club and venue in the coming years.”
Nottinghamshire and Dafabet share a commitment to safer gambling; Dafabet’s platforms include age verification, cooling-off periods and limits on deposits, losses and time spent on the site, while Nottinghamshire are a signatory to the ECB’s code of conduct on sponsorship agreements with gambling companies.
Dafabet also trains staff on identifying gambling harm, with links to support organisations featuring on its website.
As part of Dafabet’s commitment to promoting safer gambling, the brand will not feature on retail or junior shirts.
“Dafabet has become a familiar presence at major sporting events around the world – including on the shirts of international teams that compete here at Trent Bridge,” said Michael Temple, Nottinghamshire’s Commercial Director.
“This investment will play an important role in facilitating the club’s continued growth, enabling us to reinvest into grassroots and community cricket across the county, while also supporting the ongoing development of Trent Bridge as a world‑class venue.
“Partnerships like this help ensure we can innovate, evolve and remain at the forefront of the domestic and global game.”
