Trent Rockets have launched their new kit design by Nike, alongside delivery partner KitKing, with the side’s vibrant colour palette reimagined as The Hundred enters a new era.
A dynamic rocket-path design features prominently on the shirts, retaining the colour scheme which has proven a hit with the Rockets faithful across the first five years of the competition.
The shirt will be among the first to feature the famous Nike Swoosh in franchise cricket, with men’s, women’s and junior shirts now available to purchase at shop.trentrockets.com
Trent Rockets’ kit launch has been spearheaded by established England internationals Nat Sciver-Brunt and Ben Duckett, with the England Women’s captain and Three Lions mainstay being the first people to don the new apparel.
The duo lead an all-star cast set to wear Rockets colours this summer, alongside the likes of Australia icons Beth Mooney and Ash Gardner, New Zealand star Finn Allen and three-times title-winning captain Sam Billings.
Home games take place between 26 July and 10 August, with tickets on sale now at trentrockets.com
Lisa Pursehouse, Chief Executive of Trent Rockets, said “It’s really exciting to see such a prestigious sports brand on a Trent Rockets shirt for the first time.
“Trent Bridge is transformed by the Rockets’ sea of yellow on a matchday in The Hundred, so we were keen to retain the colour scheme which supporters have taken to heart since the tournament began.
“Together with Nike and KitKing, we’ve been able to evolve the design for the team’s new era, and I’m really looking forward to seeing it on the field and in the stands this summer.”
Dips Patel, CEO of KitKing, added: “Trent Bridge and Trent Rockets are very special to me.
“As my local venue, it’s where I’ve been able to introduce my daughters to the game and the big-match atmosphere of The Hundred, and they’ve been hooked ever since they first stepped through the gates.
“It’s been great to bring this partnership to fruition, delivering the global reach of an iconic sports brand to our local team in The Hundred and introducing a striking twist on the Rockets’ popular colours.”
