Captain Kirstie Gordon is backing her side to bounce back after The Blaze were defeated by five wickets in Durham.

Gordon’s charges posted 147-9 in the North East as Marie Kelly top-scored with 37, but Hollie Armitage’s outstanding 69 not out saw the hosts over the line with four balls to spare.

Scotland international Gordon says The Blaze still have belief they can make Finals Day, which takes place at the Kia Oval on Friday 17th July.

She affirmed confidently that the squad and the talent exists within the dressing room, and that when the pieces are put together, success can follow.
