Sam Seecharan’s 116 helped Notts surpass 300 on the first day of their three-day Second XI friendly with Derbyshire at Lady Bay.
Seecharan’s runs came from 232 balls, with the opener sharing in a stand of 112 for the first wicket with Ben Martindale, who made 51.
There were contributions from throughout the middle order, as Travis Holland made 36, Freddie McCann 31, Joe Pocklington 22 and Olly Stone 21.
Farhan Ahmed was unbeaten on 24 at stumps, with Byron Hatton-Lowe (9*) for company, as Notts finished the first day on 319/6.
