6.45pm: It's still dry, the toss for the men's game has taken place, and we're all systems go for a 7pm start.
5.15pm: The conditions have beaten us this afternoon unfortunately. The Blaze vs Somerset has been called off without a ball being bowled. We'll try again later this evening, with Notts Outlaws vs Worcestershire Rapids due to begin at 7pm.
5.03pm: Stop me if you think you've heard this one before, but we'll be inspecting again at 5.05pm.
4.32pm: We're expecting another pitch inspection at 4.45pm. Rain, however, is still falling.
4.20pm: The covers are, sadly, being rolled back on, in expectation of a further dousing.
4.05pm: We'll inspect again at 4.15pm.
4pm: The rain has ceased! An inspection is imminent.
3.10pm: False start. The rain returns.
3pm: The rain has now, mercifully, relented. A pitch inspection is about to take place.
2.35pm: Shortly after the toss, the heavens opened. It's currently raining persistently, and we await news of any change in timings.
12.20pm: The rain has passed - it's dry once more at Trent Bridge.
11.41am: A heavier shower has moved in.
10.50am: We've had the occasional passing shower in West Bridgford this morning, with a little drizzle falling at present.
