Freddie McCann claimed career-best figures of 3/53 before Ben Slater struck his sixth consecutive First-Class half-century as Nottinghamshire’s Rothesay County Championship clash with Yorkshire at Trent Bridge ended in a draw.
Slater made an unbeaten 74 in the Green and Golds’ second innings total of 148-1 in response to Yorkshire’s 510 all out.
McCann’s three wickets on the final day had contributed to the White Rose being bowled out, as Matthew Revis ended unbeaten on 93.
The result ensured Notts remain two points clear of defending champions Surrey at the summit of Division One.
